How to care for a worktop

It is best to use products suited to the material and avoid aggressive cleaners when you are unsure they are compatible.

This is especially important with certain natural stones, where the wrong product can affect the surface.

Care depends a lot on the stone.

With marbles and other more delicate stones it may be necessary to apply a treatment to reduce absorption and better protect the surface from stains.

That treatment does not make the stone immune to everything. Acids can still affect certain stones and some may scratch more easily.

Natural quartzites usually offer greater resistance, although characteristics and care should be checked for the specific stone.

Low absorption and resistance make it a very easy material to maintain.

For daily cleaning, water and a normal cleaning product are usually enough.

It is also a low-porosity surface that is easy to maintain.

It should be cleaned and used following the manufacturer's recommendations, especially regarding heat and products that could damage the surface.
